Ebenezer Child Care Centers' Accreditation

Ebenezer Child Care Centers' Oak Creek, Wauwatosa, Downtown Milwaukee and Southside Milwaukee locations have all achieved accreditation by the National Accreditation Commission (NAC) for Early Care and Education Programs. Ebenezer's Mequon location will be undergoing review in fall.

NAC was founded by early care and educational professionals in 1991 to help provide optimal developmental and educational opportunities for children at child care centers. It is managed by
the National Association of Child Care Professionals (NACCP). 

As NAC Accredited centers, Ebenezer Child Care Centers' Oak Creek, Wauwatosa, Downtown Milwaukee and Southside Milwaukee locations have been recognized as early care and education programs that exemplify excellence in the care of young children, professional development opportunities for staff, provide a program that exceeds state licensing requirements, and an environment that is conducive to children's individual growth and development.

Through the NAC Accreditation process, child care centers conduct a selfstudy, and work to improve the quality of their program to meet and exceed stringent NAC standards. Upon completing the self-study, a
center submits a written report to  NAC, and requests a validator observation. This validator then sends a detailed report of their findings to the Commission who in turn decides whether or notto grant a center its accreditation.
