The 7 Essential Ingredients of Trauma Sensitive Environments

Trauma and adversity are common in the lives of the children and families with which we work.  This session will focus on recognizing the impact of this on behavior, social and emotional regulation and learning.  We will discuss how shifting our perspective in understanding challenges, can go a long way to promote healthy development and healing.  Specific strategies that promote regulation and increase positive relationships will be shared.
