Making the Connections-Taking Care of Infants and Toddlers

This training emphasizes the importance of attachment for healthy social-emotional and cognitive development in infants and toddlers.  Information will be shared on how attentive and fun interaction helps a child’s brain develop.  There will also be activity ideas to support the development of all skill areas that cover language, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.  The training will provide the following overview:

  • Brain and research development
  • Growth and development
  • Environments that affect children
  • Activities to promote stress free infants and toddlers
