Literacy and Language Rich Environments are not just for the library anymore!  Much like being engrossed in your favorite book, this session will grab your attention and get you excited for the sequel.  Join us as we embark on the true story of language and literacy rich environments in the classroom.  Learn how to spread the wealth of literacy and language activities throughout your classroom….math and science and art OH MY!   We will discuss strategies to intentionally select and use materials for your classroom.  Learn how simple, yet powerful it can be, to ensure that all children have access to a variety of resources by providing many choices.  We will develop a “shopping list” of materials for you to collect and utilize.  We will design a blueprint for classroom design and examine the role of the teacher for literacy and language rich environments.
