Reading Time & Flannel Board Stories

Course Description: Become the best story teller this side of the Mississippi.  In this workshop participants will be offered quick easy tips and ideas to help make story time successful and fun and even integrate learning in the process. Rhymes and chants and stories oh my!  This is a fun evening filled with hands-on make and take activities to provide everyone with tools to use the very next day in your classroom.  We will discuss story stretchers. We will make patterns to enrich storytelling.  We will take home patterns of finger puppets, make masks, and flannel board pieces.  Most of all, we will walk away with a refreshed enthusiasm for story time and spread that enthusiasm to children!
