Transitions in the classroom always present an ideal opportunity for students to misbehave or stray from directions, but they don’t always have to be! Managing transitions with creative routines and activities will keep children engaged and help avoid negative behaviors. Transition activities of course can vary depending on the classroom and the age of children. Regardless, transitions should be an integral part of classroom procedures. In this training we will review how to get transitions to work and ways in which you can successfully make smooth transitions helpful throughout your day.
