Congratulations to Ms. Peg and Ms. Ann!

Peg and Ann-1 websizeWe would like to recognize two very special people who help make Ebenezer Child Care Centers’ Oak Creek location the great place that it is! Both are celebrating noteworthy anniversaries with us this year.

Ms. Peg, who is a teacher at our Oak Creek Center, is celebrating her 30th Anniversary with Ebenezer! Ms. Peg began as a teacher with Ebenezer and then became the Center Coordinator of our Teen Parent Programs in two of Milwaukee’s High Schools. Ms. Peg not only cared for the young infants and toddlers in that program but mentored many of the young mothers in parenting while they completed their high school education. When the Oak Creek Center opened in October of 2004, Ms. Peg returned to her passion—teaching and caring for the infants full-time, and that is where you can still find her today!

Ms. Ann, our Center Coordinator from Oak Creek, is celebrating her 25th Anniversary with Ebenezer! During the last 25 years, Ms. Ann has worked in a variety of positions and at various Ebenezer centers.  Ms. Ann worked as a Lead Teacher for 10 years with children ages one, two and four-years old (in different classrooms).  She was then promoted to an Assistant Coordinator and after a year became a Center Coordinator.  Ms. Ann has worked at our Downtown and Greenfield locations before coming to the Oak Creek location in 2007. She is also the Team Leader for the Center Coordinators and assists in training new managers.  Ms. Ann has always enjoyed working with children and as a Center Coordinator she believes she can affect the lives of more children through mentoring teachers.

Thank you to Ms. Peg and Ms. Ann for all that you do! We appreciate your dedication to Ebenezer!
