Ebenezer Welcomes Ms. Natalie and Ms. Dawn!

   We are delighted to be naming Natalie Finkley Center Coordinator for our School Partnership Program. In this position, she will be responsible for overseeing the before- and after-school child care activities overseen by Ebenezer at the four public elementary schools in Greenfield. Finkley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science/Psychology and a minor in Political Science with a certification in Peace Building/Conflict Resolution from Mount Mary College. She has also completed many pre-nursing and child care focused courses. She is a member of Interfaith, Common Ground and  New Leadership Wisconsin. In addition, she has completed leadership training with the White House Project, Camp Wellstone and the Center for Progressive Leadership Training. Prior to being named Center Coordinator for the Ebenezer School Partnership Program, Finkley served as an Assistant Director for another childcare center. Her other work experience includes serving as an Organizer/ Director for AmeriCorps; running her own family child care center; and serving as a Nursing Assistant/Medication Tech for various health care organizations. We are also thrilled to be welcoming Dawn Shipley as Center Coordinator for our Wauwatosa location. In this position, Shipley will work with staff to ensure that the center and its programs, run efficiently, are developmentally appropriate, and are welcoming for all children. Shipley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Early Childhood-Middle Childhood from UW–Madison. Prior to being named Center Coordinator for the Ebenezer’s Wauwatosa Child Care Center, Shipley served as Preschool Teacher for Celebree Learning Centers in Frederick, MD. Other work experiences include: serving as a Teacher for DC Public Schools in Washington, DC; a Site Supervisor for Wisconsin Youth Company in Madison, WI; and a Supervisor for UW-Madison Libraries.
