June’s Virtues of the Month – Modesty and Moderation

Jun 8, 2020

Ebenezer’s Virtues of the Month  Program is about empowering adults and children to live by their highest values. There are 52 virtues in the program. The mission of the Virtues Program is to provide empowering strategies of excellence that inspire the practice of virtues at Ebenezer Child Care Centers as well as at home.

Modesty is having self-respect. When you value yourself with quiet pride, you accept praise with     humility and gratitude. Modesty is being comfortable with yourself and setting healthy boundaries about your body and your privacy.

Moderation is creating a healthy balance in your life between work and play, rest and exercise. You don’t overdo or get swept away by the things you like. You use your self-discipline to take charge of your life and your time.
