May’s Virtues of the Month:

May 15, 2019

Ebenezer’s Virtues of the Month Program is about empowering adults and children to live by their highest values. There are 52 virtues in the  program. The mission of the Virtues Program is to provide empowering strategies of excellence that inspire the practice of virtues at Ebenezer Child Care Centers as well as at home. This month’s virtues are:

Tolerance is accepting differences. You don’t expect others to think, look, speak or act just like you. You are free of all prejudice, knowing that all people have feelings, needs, hopes and dreams. Tolerance is also accepting things you wish were different with patience and flexibility.

Respect is show by  speaking and acting with courtesy. We treat others with dignity and honor the rules of our family, school and nation. Respect yourself, and others will respect you.
