Oh Christmas Tree!

Children from Ebenezer’s Teddy Bear Preschool Room at our Downtown Milwaukee Child Care Center recently spent a fun afternoon with our Center Coordinator, Mona Perales, and classroom teacher, Miss Adrianna, at Cathedral Square Park decorating a special holiday tree. The tree is one of approximately 50 trees on display in the park throughout the entire month of December.

The theme for our beautifully decorated tree is “Child Care From the Heart” and all of our handmade ornaments are hearts that we colored with paint. Each staff member and child’s first name is also on the hearts they made.

As part of this special day’s activities the children also brought nonperishable food items to donate to less fortunate families in Milwaukee. After our tree was completed, everyone enjoyed a delicious chocolate chip cookie and hot cocoa. It was a truly fun and memorable day for everyone involved.
