Ebenezer Child Care Centers is pleased to announce that Beverly Anderson, the agency’s Executive Director, was recently honored by the Wisconsin Child Care Administrator’s Association (WCCAA) with their Recognition Award for making significant contributions to the field of early care and education in the State of Wisconsin.
Beverly was honored for her amazing depth of child care industry experience, organizational and leadership skills, lobbying involvement on government issues impacting child care, and her volunteer efforts with WCCAA.
Beverly has been serving as Ebenezer’s Executive Director since 1992 and has been an active member of WCCAA since 1998. She has served as President, Vice President, Membership/Marketing Chair, and Conference Coordinator for four Annual Conferences. Beverly was previously a Commissioner for the National Accreditation Commission (NAC) and is co-founder and chair of the Milwaukee Child Care Alliance (MCCA). She is also a member of the Association for Early Learning Leaders (formerly known as the National Association of Child Care Professionals), Early Learning Coalition (ELC), and Wisconsin Council on Children and Families (WCCF).
Beverly holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Preschool Education & Child Development from UW-Madison and has worked in the Early Care and Education field for more than 34 years. Congratulations Beverly – we are proud to have you as our leader!
